There will be a professional dance instructor teaching us traditional and modern country western square and line dancing, as well as a meal and bonfire at a beautiful Wisconsin farm. Our next Men's Ministry event in October will include a discussion about the challenges we as men face today with various controlling patterns, such as gaming, social media, and pornography. Grant Schoen, a leader in Dangerous Men Ministries, will be speaking. We'll also have some men share stories of their journey towards freedom in these areas. We are excited to announce that the Elders (Craig and Keith) are recommending Adam Johnson for Eldership at Sojourn Campus Church. He has completed almost one year as an intern Elder, and he has exhibited great wisdom, grace, and leadership, along with a deep love for God and for people. We are very thankful for Adam and look forward to working with him more closely in the future. 
Our By-Laws require affirmation by voting members of Sojourn to approve him as an Elder. We will be taking this vote at our community life meeting immediately following the service. Craig and Keith would like to receive input from the voting membership with any questions, concerns, or affirmations that people might have about this new role for Adam.
