Prayer is the engine of the church, because it connects us with our Mighty God, to whom all things are possible. Join us as we pray in large and small groups together.

3C Barn Dance
When: 5:00pm - 8:30pm
Where: Somerset, WI
Cost: $10
There will be a professional dance instructor teaching us traditional and modern country western square and line dancing, as well as a meal and bonfire at a beautiful Wisconsin farm. Carpools will be available leaving Sojourn at 4pm. Drivers are needed for this event. Stay tuned for registration details!
Men's Event
When: 9:30am - 12:00pm
Where: Sojourn Sanctuary
Our next Men's Ministry event in October will include a discussion about the challenges we as men face today with various controlling patterns, such as gaming, social media, and pornography. Grant Schoen, a leader in Dangerous Men Ministries, will be speaking. We'll also have some men share stories of their journey towards freedom in these areas. This event is appropriate for ages 16 and up. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be served. Please email Keith to RSVP for the event, so we can plan for food.

Annual Church Retreat

Where: Camp Ihduhapi, 3425 Ihduhapi Trail, Loretto, MN
Cost: $30 per adult; children are free
Registration is now open for our Annual Church Retreat! Join us for a full day of fun, fellowship, and seeking God together! There will be times of worship, teaching, testimonies, and plenty of free time for outdoor and indoor activities, including something new this year: a climbing wall and zipline! Come join the Sojourn Arts Meetup for coffee, networking, and encouragement. This is a time to come together as artists to network, pray, and encourage each other towards what God wants us to do with our creativity. In light of Sojourn's Fall 40 Day Evangelism blitz, we will focus the discussion on knowing your audience (Secular vs. Christian) and how to be most effective in reaching the lost through our art. Sojourn Men, you are invited to a picnic at Kevin and Lori's beautiful lake home in Lake Elmo! Join us on a prayer walk on the University of Minnesota Campus after church! We'll walk together in groups of 2 or 3 and pray for incoming students and faculty. We will walk around the East Bank campus. For those interested, we will meet after at SweeDee Cafe on 4th St and 14th Ave SE for coffee, tea, and treats.

We are excited to announce that the Elders (Craig and Keith) are recommending Adam Johnson for Eldership at Sojourn Campus Church. He has completed almost one year as an intern Elder, and he has exhibited great wisdom, grace, and leadership, along with a deep love for God and for people. We are very thankful for Adam and look forward to working with him more closely in the future.
Our By-Laws require affirmation by voting members of Sojourn to approve him as an Elder. We will be taking this vote at our community life meeting immediately following the service. Craig and Keith would like to receive input from the voting membership with any questions, concerns, or affirmations that people might have about this new role for Adam. If you would like to talk, please contact Craig or Keith prior to the meeting.

Come join us for our final Sojourn BBQ of the summer. There will be food, fellowship, and fun! Bring your appetite and a friend (or two!) as we enjoy time together as a church family.
We'll have roasted chicken, utensils, and water bottles. Bring some sides or dessert to share! There is a wading pool, playground, and sports fields to utilize at the park. See you there!
