Course Facilitator: Dr. Amy Anderson, Director of the Biblical Literacy Project

The Bible is a foundational, authoritative text for Christians, but reading it can sometimes seem confusing and overwhelming. In this course, Dr. Amy Anderson will provide historical background on how we got the Bible that we read today, examine the trustworthiness of our biblical manuscripts, and offer some general principles for how Christians can read the Bible carefully and responsibly. This is a three-session course, running October 14, 28, and November 11. No outside reading will be required (though recommended), but we do ask that participants commit to attending all three meetings. Dinner will be provided at 6:00 pm, and the course sessions will run from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.

This course is hosted by Anselm House in partnership with the Biblical Literacy Project, Sojourn Campus Church, and UMN Chi Alpha Ministries, and it is open to all participants. Please RSVP online!
